The "Atomic Cocktail" is an in-game item in the video game Fallout: New Vegas. We'll take a crack at a recreation before heading back to old Vegas to make the original Atomic Cocktail.

EQUIPMENT

1. Cocktail set (includes Boston shaker, jigger, bar spoon, hawthorne strainer, fine mesh strainer, julep strainer, muddler, cocktail picks)
2. Mixing glass
3. Nuka-Cola bottle
4. Angled measuring jigger 
   • Version using ml measurements
5. Coupe glasses

Atomic Cocktail from Fallout: New Vegas

• 2oz (60ml) vodka
• 4oz (120ml) diet orange soda
• 6 mentos

1. Add vodka and diet soda to a rocket glass (if you can find one!)
2. Drop in mentos to generate a physical reaction
3. Drink with a straw

Original Atomic Cocktail

• 1.5oz (45ml) vodka
• 1.5oz (45ml) brandy
• 1 bar spoon sherry
• 1.5oz (45ml) champagne

1. Add vodka, brandy, and sherry to a mixing glass with ice
2. Stir for 45 seconds
3. Strain into coupe glass
4. Top with champagne
5. Express lemon oils over the top
