"Old Spanish" from 30 Rock

30 Rock's Cooter Burger is a hapless government employee who tries to impress Jack by making an "Old Spanish" cocktail. We'll see if Mr. Burger is a master mixologist or not, with a brief appearance from Lemon. 




Old Spanish from 30 Rock

  • 3oz (90ml) Spanish red wine

  • 3oz (90ml) tonic water

  • 3 Spanish olives

  1. Add wine and tonic to a rocks glass with ice and stir

  2. Garnish with olives on a pick


Improved Old Spanish

  • 3oz (90ml) Amontillado sherry

  • 3oz (90ml) Fever Tree tonic water

  • 1 barspoon simple syrup

  • 3 dashes orange bitters

  • Lemon twist

  1. Add wine, simple syrup, and bitters to a collins glass with an ice spear

  2. Pour in tonic water and stir

  3. Express oils of a lemon peel over the top and drop in peel

  4. Insert straw an enjoy
