6 Quarantine Cocktails

What day is it? What month is it? Time doesn't mean anything more, but it's probably 5:00 somewhere so let's make some cocktails to get through this quarantine together.

Disclaimer: None of these cocktails should be used to treat any illness…ever



EQUIPMENT

  1. Cocktail set (includes Boston shaker, jigger, bar spoon, hawthorne strainer, fine mesh strainer, julep strainer, muddler, cocktail picks)

  2. Mixing glass

  3. Angled measuring jigger

  4. Coupe glass

  5. Rocks glass

  6. Collins glass

  7. Martini glass


Quarantine Cocktail

  • 1.5oz (45ml) light rum

  • .25oz (7ml) gin

  • .25oz (7ml) dry vermouth

  • .25oz (7ml) orange juice

  • .50oz (15ml) lemon juice

  • .25oz (7ml) simple syrup

  • 1 egg white

  1. Add all ingredients except egg white to a shaker tin with ice

  2. Shake for 15 seconds

  3. Double strain back into shaker tin

  4. Add egg white and dry shake for 15 seconds

  5. Pour into chilled coupe glass


Coroni

  • 1oz (30ml) Campari or Bruto Americano

  • 1oz (30ml) sweet vermouth

  • 1oz (30ml) gin

  • Orange peel

  1. Add all ingredients into a mixing glass with ice

  2. Stir for 45 seconds

  3. Strain into a rocks glass with a big cube

  4. Garnish with orange peel cut into shape of a crown


Quarantini

  • 2oz (60ml) Tequila

  • .5oz (15ml) orange liqueur

  • .5oz (15ml) fresh orange juice

  • .25oz (7ml) agave nectar

  • 1 pack orange Emergen-C

  • Soda water

  1. Add all ingredients into a shaker tin with ice

  2. Hold shaker tin tight and shake for 15 seconds

  3. Double strain into a chilled martini glass

  4. Top with soda water


Gin & Tonic

  • 2oz (60ml) dry gin

  • 4oz (120ml) tonic water

  • Squeeze of lime wedge

  1. Add chilled gin to a chilled collins glass

  2. Tilt glass 45 degrees and gently pour in tonic water

  3. Add lime juice

  4. Add ice and straw, and enjoy!


Quarantiki

  • 1oz (30ml) lime juice

  • 1oz (30ml) grapefruit juice

  • .5oz (15ml) cinnamon syrup

  • .5oz (15ml) passion fruit syrup

  • 1.5oz (45ml) aged Jamaican rum

  • 1.5oz (45ml) dark rum

  • 5 dashes Angostura bitters

  • Spring of mint

  • Cloves

  1. Add all ingredients to a shaker tin with crushed ice

  2. Shake for 10 seconds

  3. Free pour into a tiki mug

  4. Clap sprig of mint and place in mug

  5. Take spent half lime wedge, poke holes using a metal pick and stick in cloves

  6. Garnish with your “coronavirus” lime wedge

Corpse Reviver #2

  • .75oz (22ml) gin

  • .75oz (22ml) Cointreau

  • .75oz (22ml) Cocci Americano

  • .75oz (22ml) fresh lemon juice

  • Absinthe

  1. Add all ingredients into a shaker tin with ice

  2. Shake for 15 seconds

  3. Spray a chilled coupe glass with absinthe (or rinse)

  4. Double strain cocktail into glass

  5. Garnish with lemon twist
