Climate change got you down? If you're looking to drink your sorrows away, you're gonna have to adapt, so let's make frozen versions of classic cocktails that are simple and delicious.



EQUIPMENT

  1. Cocktail set (includes Boston shaker, jigger, bar spoon, hawthorne strainer, fine mesh strainer, julep strainer, muddler, cocktail picks)

  2. Angled measuring jigger

  3. Blender

  4. Coupe glasses

  5. Rocks glasses

  6. Collins glasses


Frozen Strawberry Negroni

  • 1oz (30ml) dry gin

  • 1oz (30ml) sweet vermouth

  • 1oz (30ml) Campari

  • .75oz (22ml) fresh orange juice

  • .5oz (15ml) simple syrup

  • 2 strawberries

  • 5 ice cubes

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender

  2. Blend on high until slushy consistency

  3. Pour into a rocks glass

  4. Garnish with half a strawberry


Frozen Moscow Mule

  • 2oz (60ml) vodka (or mezcal or bourbon)

  • 3oz (90ml) ginger beer

  • .75oz (22ml) fresh lime juice

  • .75oz (22ml) simple syrup

  • 5 ice cubes

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender

  2. Blend on high until slushy consistency

  3. Pour into a rocks glass

  4. Garnish with a lime wheel


Frozen Irish Coffee

  • 1oz (30ml) brandy

  • 1oz (30ml) coffee liqueur

  • 2oz (60ml) cold strong coffee (or 2 frozen coffee ice cubes)

  • 1/3 cup vanilla ice cream

  • 3 cubes ice

  • 1/8 teaspoon coffee grounds, for garnish (optional)

  1. Combine the ice cream, ice cubes, coffee, brandy and coffee liqueur in a blender.

  2. Puree on HIGH until the ice is completely broken down and the mixture is the consistency of a milkshake.

  3. Serve in a highball glass.

  4. Sprinkle a pinch of coffee grounds over the top of each.
