The Matrix is back, and Mr. Anderson has been taking a lot of blue pills. So here’s a cocktail where you have to make a choice, and it will completely change your experience. Come on in and I’ll show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.

EQUIPMENT

1. Cocktail set (includes Boston shaker, jigger, bar spoon, hawthorne strainer, fine mesh strainer, julep strainer, muddler, cocktail picks)

2. Angled measuring jigger

   • Version using ml measurements

3. Rock glasses

4. Pill capsules

Matrix Cocktail

• 1oz (30ml) high proof rum

• .5oz (15ml) Green Chartreuse

• .75oz (22ml) cream of coconut

• 1oz (30ml) pineapple juice

• .75oz (22ml) lime juice

• .5oz (15ml) banana milk (blend 1 cup milk with 1 ripe banana)

• Red pill (half smoked paprika, half cayenne pepper)

• Blue pill (half cinnamon, half nutmeg)

1. All liquid ingredients to a shaker tin with ice

2. Shake for 15 seconds

3. Double strain into a rocks glass with ice

4. Choose the red pill or the blue pill, sprinkle over the cocktail
