The 5 Easiest VODKA Cocktails
Here are five delicious and dead simple cocktails where the ONLY alcoholic ingredient you need is vodka. The other ingredients are things you can find in your pantry or a quick trip to the market.
EQUIPMENT
Cocktail set (includes Boston shaker, jigger, bar spoon, hawthorne strainer, fine mesh strainer, julep strainer, muddler, cocktail picks)
Lemon Drop
2 oz (60ml) blanco vodka
.75 oz (45ml) fresh lemon juice
.75 oz (45ml) simple syrup
Combine all ingredients into a shaker tin with ice
Shake and then double strain into a chilled coupe glass
Garnish with a lemon twist
Moscow Mule
2oz (60ml) of blanco vodka
Juice from half a lime
4oz (120ml) ginger beer
Add vodka to a collins glass with ice
Squeeze in fresh lime juice
Top with ginger beer
Garnish with a lime wedge
Cucumber Mint Vodka Soda
2oz (60ml) vodka
4oz (120ml) sparkling water
2 slices of cucumber
4-5 mint leaves
Sprig of mint
Add vodka into a collins glass
Add mint then cucumber to a the glass
Gently muddle to extract cucumber juice and mint oils
Add ice and top with sparkling water
Insert straw and garnish with a mint sprig
Grapefruit Julep
2oz (60ml) vodka
1.5oz (45ml) fresh grapefruit juice
1oz (30ml) pomegranate juice
.5oz (15ml) fresh lime juice
.75oz (22ml) honey syrup (1:1 mix of honey and water by volume)
4-5 mint leaves
Sprig of mint
Add honey syrup and mint to a shaker glass
Gently muddle mint to extract the oils
Add the rest of the ingredients and ice
Shake for 15 seconds
Double strain into a collins glass with cracked ice
Garnish with a mint sprig
Straw-vod-berry-ka
2oz (60ml) vodka
.75oz (22ml) fresh lime juice
.5oz (15ml) honey syrup
2 strawberries
1-2 oz (30-60ml) Ginger beer
Add honey syrup and strawberries to a shaker glass
Muddle to extract juices
Add all ingredients except ginger beer to the shaker
Add ice and shake for 15 seconds
Double strain into a large coupe glass
Top with ginger beer
Garnish with half a strawberry
