"Cotton Candy Brandy" from Big Mouth

The show Big Mouth follows the lives of 7th graders navigating their way through puberty while taking dubious advice from a variety of "hormone monsters". In season 1 we are introduced to a drink made for kids, by kids: Cotton Candy Brandy. In this video I take a crack at recreating it, while also talking through my process for developing cocktails like this.

EQUIPMENT

1. Cocktail set (includes Boston shaker, jigger, bar spoon, hawthorne strainer, fine mesh strainer, julep strainer, muddler, cocktail picks)

2. Angled measuring jigger

   • Version using ml measurements

3. Bear cup with straw

4. Cotton candy

Cotton Candy Brandy

• 2oz (60ml) pisco

• .25oz (7ml) Cherry Heering

• 0.5oz (15ml) cream of coconut

• 0.75oz (22ml) fresh lime juice

• 1 pinch of cotton candy

1. Add all ingredients to a shaker tin with ice

2. Shake for 15 seconds

3. Double strain into the plastic bear
